Free catalog of songs online challenge iTunes ?
Via NyTimes i read that a new online company,SpiralFrog, make a huge catalog of songs available for consumers to download free ! The catalog is by Universal Music Group and the intention of SpyralFrog is to offering young consumers an easy-to-use alternative to pirated music sites (and to p2p software) to give download free that are supported by advertising. SpyralFrog intends to challenge Apple and his iTunes: dream or reality?
Via il NyTimes leggo che una nuova azienda online, la SpiralFrog, intende realizzare un catalogo di brani e renderlo disponibile al download online in maniera completamente gratuita ! Il catalogo è quello dell'Universal Music Group e l'intenzione di SpyralFrog è quello di offrire ai giovani consumatori una facile alternativa ai siti di musica pirata (e quindi ai p2p) fornendo il download libero, grazie al supporto dell'advertising, ovvero agli sponsor. SpyralFrog sfida così Apple ed il suo iTunes: sogno o realtà ?
