I said that developing Google Video was better, here because. The startup Youtube has been forced to remove about 30 thousand videoclip by the Japanese authority which cures the copyright in Japan, the JASRAC. Agreements for the payment of the foreseen royalty have not been enough for the authors and publishers and the ability of Youtube in “negotiate” and legally act: files have been judged in violation of the rights of 23 companies of Japanese contents, since the videos are taken by television entertaining programs and musical. The companies of the authors and publishers have been found out analysing the web site in “only” five days: what will do when the amount of online available video will increase ? Drm ?

Drm a manetta.

  • He was there to expect it, I who was better entrust him

    Ehm – excuse me…?

Sorry to say that the English section of this site is close to incomprehensible.

What’s the matter To my knowledge, Italy has no dearth of people with good skill in English.

  • hey man! Take it easy!! ;)
You have to lump things together without “discrimination”!!
There are also Italians which have good skills in English!!!I’m not a genius, but I cope with it even if I’m Italian…
But, as far as the opening words of this post, you’re right!!!
I cannot understand what the writer means…

  • I agree with Eleonora. There are some mistakes within this post but I don’t think that your comment is very helpful.

I personally appreciate the effort of Dario in translating his words into English, even if sometimes he might not be successful at it.

And I am not saying this because I am Italian.

I have been to Germany twice and I was not able to find a single person who could speak English at a very elementary level. I was indeed very surprised… but I would never dare say that Germans don’t speak good English.

  • Sorry for the inconvenience, i have already written that I haven’t enough time in order to write in two languages, En and IT: writing a bi-languages blog isn’t very easy, consider me.

@Dan: I wanted to say that i had already said that Google Video could be developed. I have a Trinity College in English, that could be a good skill but I often use automatic translators to earn time, and these are the results.

@Eleonora: It’s true, but how many people do you know which writes in two languages on the blog ? I Will change the post in En, I would appreciate more constructive comments.

@Corday: Thanks for your support. I always excuse if English is not very good.

  • There are also Italians which have good skills in English!!!I’m not a genius, but I cope with it even if I’m Italian…

“To my knowledge, Italy has no dearth of people with good skill in English”.

  • @Eleonora: It’s true, but how many people do you know which writes in two languages on the blog ?

  • I think to be able to speak and write English quite well so take it easy, Dan, with generalizations…
Maybe, Dario, this is a signal. Dan is not a very kind person, but If your service is not useful, it is not efficient so maybe you could stop writing in English because your target does not understand… Furthermore you say that translation takes you a lot of time…
If your web space is a professional one, all has to be professional, not just the Italian part…

  • Dan is not a very kind person

Now, I can see how I am going to reinforce your sorry opinion about my manners…

I think to be able to speak and write English quite well so take it easy, Dan, with generalizations…

… but what I wrote (and someone else pointed it out already) is the other way around of what you people think you have read:

“There is no dearth (maybe ‘dearth’ is the culprit word?) of skilled people in Italy”, means of course: “Italy has plenty of skilled people”!

I’m sorry to remark that you don’t appear to be in that number, at least as far as the understanding of simple English sentences s concerned.

(BTW: “I think I am able to speak and write English quite well, so _go_ easy with generalizations”; and I heartily agree on your point, the bad English on this site denotes carelessness and even a certain disrespect for the readers)

  • please… don’t tell me what to say… there’s no only one way to say things in the right way…
and if we don’t understand you maybe it’ because you wrote things in a not communicative way…
for instance, why did you use this sentence “Italy has plenty of skilled people” after this other one “Sorry to say that the English section of this site is close to incomprehensible”? there’s no consequence…

  • please… don’t tell me what to say… there’s no only one way to say things in the right way…

Well, don’t YOU have me to say the opposite of what I said, then, little miss… ;-)

if we don’t understand you maybe it’ because you wrote things in a not communicative way…

Comunicati, I believe in Italian this is called “climbing mirrors”: I wrote a perfectly formed, utterly idiomatic, very simple English sentence which you proved unable to interpret — not my bad indeed.

why did you use this sentence “Italy has plenty of skilled people” after this other one “Sorry to say that the English section of this site is close to incomprehensible”? there’s no consequence…

It’s actually pretty obvious: since finding people who are proficient in English is no hard feat, the blogger might have his translations checked before posting — that’ all.

  • i’ve never said i’m the best in writing/understanding english… but i think i’m quite “a good pupil”…
by the way, i still believe you’re not a very polite person…

  • by the way, i still believe you’re not a very polite person…

you bet your sweet ass! ;-)

  • no ecco adesso ci riesco…
allora…
Detto questo good luck!

  • @ Eleonora 1° punto: ok, spiegalo in inglese a Dan adesso! io mi associo completamente… :P
    ke kasino sta discussione!

  • To make you all feel better, here is a sample of my italian:

That’s as good as it gets… cheer up!

Ehehe your Italian is so pretty ;)
